Personal trainer, pilates instructor, wife and mom. I love my morning cup of coffee, watching FRIENDS reruns and good conversation. But not for too long because my introvert self needs some alone time to recharge. 😉

With over a decade of experience working with people in the health and fitness industry I have noticed one major trend. Conventional advice (for health and weight loss) simply is not working.

Restrictive diets are not sustainable.

Fancy, complicated exercise routines are not necessary.

The pursuit of achieving a perfect body is not helpful.

The focus often lies in external tools like what to eat and how to workout when in actuality your inner tools will be your greatest asset.

There is no one-size-fits-all strategy to eating and exercise. You have your own preferences, needs, life, and body. The goal is to make nutrition and fitness work for you, not against you.

Stick around here long enough and this is what you will see.

  • You will transform your eating and exercise habits so you have a routine you never feel like you need to take a break from.

  • You will learn how to eat for health AND enjoyment.

  • Learn how to incorporate fitness into your life so it feels manageable. Your body will feel strong and capable whether you want to keep up with your kids or carry all groceries in one load (me).

  • You will feel confident in your body and approach. No need to jump from program to program or diet to diet or wonder if you are doing the right thing. Embrace the body you have but also take care of it.

  • You will no longer waste tons of mental energy thinking about food, food rules, workouts, and your body and put that energy toward other areas of your life.
